Megan Bowlin- Lead Teacher
Megan was born in Southern California. She was raised in West Texas but has lived in New Mexico for the past 5 years. She is married with two daughters of her own. Her oldest daughter is 11 and her youngest is 3. Megan has always been drawn to working with young children. She has been teaching in Sunday Schools and vacation Bible schools since she was 12. Her first job after graduating high school was teaching 3’s & 4’s at an Imagination Station preschool in Texas. She loved it and knew then that is was her calling. Megan has received her certification from CYFD and SFCC in Early Childhood Development. She holds an AA and AAS in Early Childhood Development from SFCC. Megan is an energetic and motivated member of the TBS teaching team.
Kat Kinnick- Floater and Aftercare
Kat has a BFA degree in Interdisciplinary Sculpture with a concentration in Sustainability and Social Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. After graduating, she started working with preschoolers in the Fall of 2015 and since then her inspiration to work professionally as an Early Childhood Educator has grown.
Kat grew up in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. When she was 10, she had her own baked-from-scratch dog biscuit business at the local farmer’s market. As a kid, she developed a love for animals, and wrote about her goat Colores for the village magazine. She continues to love inventive art making, exploring outside while noticing how beautiful nature is in it’s abundant diversity, and living in culturally diverse New Mexico!
